Below is the information you need in order to join us. First and foremost: HAVE FUN! Parades take a long time to set up and then seem to take forever to get down the street. Please bring your sunscreen, some water to drink, your patience and your sense of humor with you as we go through this process together.
Just scroll down to complete the Parade Application. A copy of the Parade Regulations may also be viewed at prideaugusta.org/parade_rules.html. Be sure to read over everything and ﬁll out the application completely.
This year’s theme is “All the colors of the rainbow.” We request that all parade units embrace this theme to the best of their ability.
All units must check in between 8:30 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. on Jones Street, between 10th and 11th Streets. If you arrive late in setup, or after the start of the parade, we must reserve the right to place you at the back of the parade, or not place you at all. Please be sure to get there early!
The parade will line up on Jones Street, between 10th and 11th Streets, and start promptly at 10:00 a.m. We will march from Jones Street; south on 11th Street to Broad Street; east on Broad Street; north on 8th Street. Marchers should continue on to the Festival grounds from Reynolds Street while floats can return to Jones Street for cleanup.
