YES AUGUSTA, there will be a PARADE - June 19, 2010!

Parade Start: Assemble near 6th Street and Reynolds where parade organizers will place groups in order for our first AUGUSTA PRIDE PARADE down Broad Street to 10th Street, where we will will turn right towards the Riverwalk and the FESTIVAL!

 

This year there is no charge for participating in the parade.

Festival!

Enter at the 10th Street bulkhead and enjoy performances on the main stage and the booths set up by our sponsors and other merchants along the Riverwalk, all the way down to the 8th Street bulkhead entrance.

 

We will also have food vendors and other merchants available for you in the Augusta Commons near Broad Street.

Disco-Diva and vocalist extrordinaire, Thelma's career has spanned Motown, movies, television, winning the Grammy award for "Don't Leave Me This Way," and being an inductee to the Dance Music Hall of Fame in New York City.

Frenchie Davis

Grammy-nominee, Frenchie Davis

"American Idol" favorite, Frenchie Davis went on to Broadway, scoring rave reviews in the shows RENT and DREAMGIRLS. In 2009 she toured with Ruben Studdard in AIN'T MISBEHAVIN'.
